Color Touch™ Tradition Lives On

Color Touch 2
The cutting-edge Color Touch instrument was originally released in 1994. Since then it has been the leading spectrophotometer specifically designed for use by pulp and papermakers worldwide.  Unique features such as automatic calibration (no manual data entry), an internal swing-in standard and an integrated computer with touch screen interface are all still uniquely Technidyne Color Touch features.

The Color Touch Family of instruments now includes:

  * Color Touch (the original)

  * Color Touch 2 (an updated design with all the great features of the original)

  * Color Touch PC (a customizable user interface with separate PC interface)

  * PROFILE/Plus Color Touch (an automated version for MD and CD paper strip testing)

One customer has 25 Color Touch instruments spread across three continents due to its versatility, ease of use and durability.  Color Touch instruments are used in the pulp mill, on the paper machine floor, in quality control labs and customer service applications.  Most suppliers to pulp and paper mills also use the Color Touch to validate their own materials, applications and processes.

Technidyne has shipped 2,500 ISO Brightness measurement instruments in its history and a total of 6,000 quality and process control instruments since 1974. These instruments have been delivered to 55 different countries around the world. One international tissue producer has replaced older colorimeter technology with 41 Color Touch spectrophotometers in the last 3 years.
